About Us

At Rainbow Playhouse Preschool, we provide a fun and engaging preschool program for children in a warm and family-friendly environment.

We implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) with the vision for all children to experience play-based learning that is engaging and builds success for life.

​

Alongside the EYLF, we work in partnership with families to develop a learning program responsive to children's ideas, interests strengths, abilities and learning needs. We value families as children's first and most influential educators.

​

Our program incorporates blocks of guided play, where children have the opportunity to play and explore experiences supported by purposeful interactions and intentional teaching with our educators. Our program also incorporates opportunities for learning through group experiences lead by an educator.

​

Family involvement in our program is strongly encouraged. We encourage families to read our day sheets, share ideas for experiences with our educators, tell us about family experiences and volunteer to be part of the program through spending time in the service.

8:30am to 4:00pm

Monday to Friday - during school terms

Closed on Public holidays

fees for 2022

​

• $22.00 p/day for 4 year olds and older (inc children who turn 4 before 31 July 2021)

• $8.00 p/day for children from an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander background

• $8.00 p/day for families with a Low Income Healthcare Card 

• $32.00 p/day for 3 year olds (children not 4 before 31 July 2022 and not from one of the above groups)

• Please note that all children must enrol for a minimum of 2 days a week and no more than 3 days a week unless for special circumstances
