St. Patricks Day 2023

Having our families visit our centre is one of our favourite things. We find it so beneficial for all of the children and us, as educators, to get to know our peers cultures and communities. Being St. Patricks Day we sent out invites for any of our Irish families to feel welcome to join us for the day and share something special about their culture.

Today we had a special visitor, Melissa. Amelia‘s mum came and read two lovely stories about Saint Patrick’s Day. The first story was about the traditions of Saint Patrick’s Day. The second one was about the leprechaun and how to listen out for the three knocks to let you know a leprechaun is maybe building some shoes or hiding his special gold.
